Louis Gomez

As founder, owner and managing broker of Closing Cash Realty, Louis' mission is to protect the interests of his clients and to deliver world-class real estate services at a reasonable cost. He is also responsible for developing strategies that drive growth in both the real estate brokerage and Internet advertising segments of the business.

Prior to founding Closing Cash Realty, Louis Gomez was Vice President of Finance and Administration for the Content Components Division of Stellent, Inc., a publicly-traded software company (purchased by Oracle in November 2006). Previously, Louis held Controller, managerial, and analytical positions for companies in the power generation, global travel distribution system, and software industries.

Mr. Gomez graduated with honors from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a BS in Accountancy. Louis also holds an MBA in Finance from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. He is a registered certified public accountant and licensed real estate broker in Illinois.

A long-time resident of River North, Louis has also resided in Lincoln Park and Streeterville. Let him put his extensive knowledge of the city and suburbs to work for you today.

About Closing Cash Realty

Closing Cash Realty LLC is an Illinois corporation and licensed real estate LLC firm. We provide discount real estate brokerage services to both home buyers and home sellers in the Chicago metropolitan area. We are members of the Chicago Association of Realtors®, Illinois Association of Realtors®, and the National Association of Realtors®.


Our Mission Statement

Our objective is to become the residential real estate brokerage firm of choice in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. We will accomplish this objective by 1) working to preserve the home equity of our listing clients by providing high-quality, professional Realtor® services at discount rates and 2) providing our buyer clients with generous post-closing rebates. We are committed to providing fair and equitable residential real estate sales and marketing services in compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws.


Chicago Discount Realtor® Services

Closing Cash Realty provides a number of services for both buyers and sellers of Chicago real estate. Our specialty is providing generous cash rebates to our buyer clients as part of our Buyer Rebate Plan. Home sellers can also sale $1,000s when selling Chicago real estate by using our Discount Listing Plan or Flat-fee MLS Listing Plan.

  • Buyer Rebate Plansm: We will pay you a rebate of up to 50% of our commission when you buy a qualifying home and use Closing Cash Realty as your Realtor®. You can use your cash rebate for closing costs, to purchase furniture, buy a new pet, or whatever you choose. We provide our buyer clients with this rebate because we know that you're going to perform most of your search on the Internet anyway, so why shouldn't you share in the commission?
  • Discount Listing Plansm: You can literally save $1000's in real estate brokerage commissions by selling your home using our 3.75% Discount Listing Plan. This full-service program provides the same level of service as our 6% competitors including scheduled showings and a full-listing in the MLS, Realtor.com, ChicagoTribune.com and other prominent websites.
  • Agent Referral Plansm: Are you outside of the Chicago metro area but still desire to receive cash at closing when purchasing Illinois real estate? By using our Agent Referral Plan, we'll pay you 33% of our referral fee after closing. Depending on the purchase of your new home or the selling price of your existing home, this can mean several hundred dollars of cash in your pocket.
