Armour Square is a community on the near south-side of Chicago. It is a long, narrow neighborhood bordered by 18th Street on the north and running all the way to Pershing Road on the south. It is the home of the Chicago White Sox at US Cellular Field and the historic Chinatown district.
Chinatown is a magnet for local residents and tourists alike. Chinatown Square is the focalpoint of the district with its many Chinese restaurants, grocery stores and gift shops. It is the largest Chinese mall east of San Francisco and west of New York City.
The availability of real estate in Armour Square is limited. Typically there are no more than 2-3 dozen condominium units available for sale and even fewer single-family homes.
